Digital People captures the silhouette of the participant using computer vision technologies, it then passes the result to a Direct X shader network. The original application or set of nodes was designed in VVVV. The effect that you see in this video is what happens when a participant walks, dances or moves in front of the camera, it is simultaneously eerie and beautiful.
