Comme le temps passe vite, nous sommes déjà vendredi 18, veille du dernier week-end du Mapping Festival!
Près de 70 événements se sont déjà deroulés jusqu'à maintenant, et encore une trentaine sont à venir ces prochains jours! L'équipe du Mapping festival vous a concocté une soirée baptisée "Bass Compressor" au Zoo avec notamment la talentueuse Nekochan, une autre intitulée "Tagtool and disco party" à la Fonderie Kugler ainsi, notamment, qu'une soirée "haute en relief" de mapping architectural au MAH à ne manquer sous aucun prétexte.
How time flies! Today is already Friday 18th, the day before the last week-end of the Mapping Festival!
About 70 events have already taken place so far, and another 30 are scheduled in the coming days! The team of the Mapping Festival has concocted an evening called "Bass Compressor" at the Zoo including the talented Nekochan, another named "Tagtool and disco party" at the Fonderie Kugler, and, among others, an architectural evening "in high relief " at the MAH which should not be missed under any circumstances.

Ses influences, son style, son goût pour la mélodie et la précision font probablement de Nekochan une des artistes électroniques les plus atypiques du moment. Ses productions, mélange d’électronica/ dubstep/glitch up, survolées par une voix fascinante dévoilent un univers sonore aux influences japonaises où électronique et organique sont en parfaite symbiose. Armée de son clavier MS20 Korg, d’un clavier et d’un micro, elle sort en 2009 un EP digital «Vahiné/Wise», suivi d’un maxi vinyle en mars 2010 sur le label Airflex Labs. Ils viennent confirmer l’essai et séduisent un nombre impressionnant de DJs et promoteurs outre-manche (Mary Anne Hobbs, Joy Orbison...), lui permettant de compter un bon nombre de supporters à l’étranger. L’artiste a su se forger une réelle identité musicale faite d’audace, de subtilité et d’insolence. Se jouant des styles avec classe, elle parvient à mêler electronica et dubstep, techno et hip- hop, le tout sur une écriture pop élégante et singulière. En live, l’artiste est accompagnée par Fajune (VJ) pour les vidéos. Elle viendra présenter son live sur le prestigieux festival des Transmusicales de Rennes.
Her influences, her style, her taste for melody and precision probably make of Nekochan one of the most unusual electronic artists of the moment. Her productions, mixing electronica/dubstep/glitch up, accompanied by a fascinating voice reveal a sound universe with Japanese influences where organics and electronics are in perfect harmony. Armed with her MS20 Korg keyboard, a keyboard and a microphone, she released a digital EP in 2009 "Vahiné/Wise," followed by a maxi vinyl EP in March 2010 on the label Airflex Labs. The artist has forged herself a musical identity made of real boldness, subtlety and insolence. Playing with styles with class, she manages to mix electronica and dubstep, techno and hip-hop, all on a stylish and singular pop writing. Live, the artist is accompanied by Fajune (VJ) for videos.

Une soirée qui finalise les trois intenses jours de la communauté Tagtool. Ces quinze membres pluridisciplinaires : graphistes, musiciens, Djs vont décorer la salle de haut en bas, extérieur comme intérieur. Au menu musical oriental disco, électro de Detroit, house, afro-jazz voire parfois même hip-hop. Des dessins, des jets de peinture, du mapping, du rouge, du bleu, du turquoise, des étoiles et paillettes, des splash et un peu de pshit pourront vous faire sortir de la Fonderie en étant persuadé que cette salle n’a jamais été industrielle et blanche. On parie ?
An evening that completes the three intense days of the Tagtool community. These fifteen multidisciplinary members - graphic designers, musicians, DJs - will decorate the room from top to bottom, outside and inside. Oriental disco, Detroit electro, house, afro-jazz or even hip-hop. Drawings, spraypaint, mapping, red, blue, turquoise, stars and glitter, splashes and pschiiiits may make you think as you exit the Fonderie that this room was never industrial and white. Wanna bet?

Dans le cadre de l’exposition A la tombée de la nuit, le Musée d’art et d’histoire invite le Mapping Festival à mettre en lumière et en images la façade de la cour intérieure. Trois performances de mapping architectural s’enchaîneront en continu pour une soirée d’exception.

As part of the A la tombée de la nuit exhibition, the museum of art and history invites the Mapping Festival to adorn the facade of its courtyard with light and images. Three performances of architectural mapping will play continuously for an exceptional evening.
