Projectgray is an experience designed to bring about a heightened sense of introspective meditation through sound and visual effects. Through improvisation, Projectgray artists seek to alter their state of being in an effort to dislodge their references as well as the audience’s. We believe that there exists a necessity to continuously challenge the status quo of our psyche to give us an honest perspective of reality. We are change and to resist that certainty leads to unnecessary pain and suffering.

The space that we will distort must be one that is open to such an experience. This is why we perform in spaces that have the willingness to deform its walls and foundation and the humility to allow others to sculpt its meaning.

Don Charette, Alex Millaire, and Alexis Zeville have come together to create Projectgray. We promise to make you feel uncomfortable, out of place, lost in space, happy, sad… so yeah you should come! Improvising to a live video composed of 8 mm film from our Canadian landscapes, lumberjacks and all, plus a touch of Alexis Zeville’s personal footage, we hope to bring you all into trance! Bring your problems with you this upcoming May 18th and let them go.

A LIVE VIDEO will be PROJECTED on the side of our house in Chelsea, QC while we improvise outside. A fire will be running all night to encourage the animal within to come out and dance a little. Feel free to get naked, scream at the top of your lungs or just sit and listen and watch.
