Bisontennial Serenade is a real time visual graphic/ musical art installation created by Kyle Gordon. It tells the story of a young lad (guitarist Michael Bitton) who desperately wishes to swoon a beautiful Bison by evoking its hidden beauty.

The project itself consists of custom made graphics by Kyle Gordon, who will also be mixing these visuals together in a live VJ performance alongside guitarist Michael Bitton. The entire piece is done live and with improvisation, and never the same each time it is displayed. Both Kyle and Michael perform their ends of the piece based on the other, resulting in a duet of 3D graphics, projection mapping, sculpture, VJing, and music.

This installation will be installed in the UCSB Undergrad Spring Art Show on June 16th, 2012. Another video of the actual performance will be posted thereafter.

This collaborative work is a precursor to the Eucalyptus Eucalyptus project/band (Consisting of Lead Guitarist/ Vocals by Michael Bitton, Bass by Adam Antelyes, Drums by Aaron Labowe, and Live Performance Graphics by Kyle Gordon).
