"Extrapolis" is an augmented interactive drawing

Breaking the boundaries between drawing and video projection, this digital art work litterally draws the spectator in an imaginary and alive city. Putting human life and animation at its core, Extrapolis explores and questions the relationship between the city and its inhabitants.
Extrapolis draws its inspirations from both the comics world and the digital art sphere, like AntiVj's Cityscape 2095.

"Extrapolis", un tableau augmenté interactif

Brisant les frontières entre les différents supports de l'image, cette oeuvre d'art numérique plonge le spectacteur dans une ville imaginaire en perpétuel mouvement. L'installation questionne le rapport entre la ville et ses habitants en mettant en scène le citadin, acteur de sa ville, dans le tableau.
Extrapolis est inspiré par l'univers de la bande-dessinée et d'oeuvres numériques comme Cityscape 2095 d'Antivj.

Ce projet a été développé lors du Vidéophonic #23 organisé par l'association AADN.
