/// Discover the first names for our 12th edition!

With a few weeks to go before the opening, the Mapping Festival is glad to lift the veil on part of its line-up for 2016!

For its upcoming 12th edition, the festival will move in to the Alhambra to present several key performances, among which Nøtel, a new live AV project by London godfather of bass Kode9 and German artist Lawrence Lek, and Seismik, a frequency-fraught, telluric AV performance built on Herman Kolgen's previous audiocinetic sculptures.
Another can't-miss event is the exhibition at Le Commun (BAC), which will this year feature five installations exploring the notion of immersion. Amongst them, the works of Martin MessierRefik Anadol as well as Lawrence and Vincent Malstaf will more specifically play with our perception of space, inviting us to experience its ephemeral consistency and its most singular contortions.

Night owls will also get their thrill: in the course of three nights, the Zoo will treat them to beats chiseled by musicians and DJs at the cutting edge of the electronic music scene. The heart-warming house of Douglas Greedwill start the ascent, which will then flourish in Shackleton's eclectic rythms to finally climax at the fringes of techno with Rrose and other representatives of Avant-Garde electronics. Bespoke scenographies will be supporting this outstanding musical selection.
Ticketing and full line-up will shortly be online!

/// Call for volunteers!

We are looking for motivated, available volunteers to help in the smooth running of the festival in a number of sectors (reception, ticketing, bars, catering, logistics, runners, etc.), as well as for setting up and dismantling the exhibition (from April 18 to May 13).

We are also looking for people willing to participate in the photo and video recording of the festival, from April 28 to May 8.
Whether expert or amateur, you will be at the forefront to document installations, performances and parties at the Zoo!
If you want to be part of the adventure, register via the dedicated form.
Thanks in advance!
