Perceptual video sorting using Synopsis

I've analyzed a portion of my VJ video library with my video analysis software Synopsis.

Here I do realtime sorting based on Spotlight search results. Synopsis queries global metadata stored and cached within the Quicktime movies and uses those to compute similarity scores used for sorting.

I view similar clips using a variety of correlation algorithms, using image hashes adopted for video, global histogram similarity, dominant color comparison, and a smart heuristic which attempts to combine weights of the above algorithms to provide a best match.
