Abstrakt Art In Motion

 

Hi, It is time to celebrate the third edition of Punto y Raya JUNIOR, younger brother of the world event for Abstract Art in Motion, where the contents are produced BY CHILDREN under 13 years of age. The Festival will take place October 22nd - 24th, 2021 in Poland, hosted by CNP Centrum na Przedmieści and CeTA Audiovisual Technology Center in Wroclaw, with free admission.  The International Call for Short Films closed on October 1st with the participation of over 60 films from children and schools in 12 countries. In addition to the Junior International Showcase, other activities include Live Performances -also produced by children under the guidance of international professionals-, multidisciplinary Workshops in various formats, Installations and Permanent Creation Stations, Guest Screenings, and other creative and recreational activities to participate with the family.  Due to the security measures related to COVID-19, many of the activities require prior registration. ACTIVITY PROGRAMME

		53 short films from 10 countries in 4 continents. The films are structured in three 30' screening programmes.
		LIVE and BY CHILDREN! Under the guidance of Aurora Gasull (ES) and Maciek Bączyk (PL); Anita García (ES) and Marta Piksa (PL).
		Abstract creation Workshops open to children of all ages, held at CNP and CeTA. The disciplines are Animation, Fine Arts, Micro-photography, Expanded Cinema, and more.
		Two programmes curated especially for family audiences by MAD. One is devoted to the marvels of the microscopic world. The other brings together works created by children for previous editions of the PyR Junior Festival with short films made by professionals.
		Anita García (ES) and Marta Piksa (PL) will exhibit the various objects collected and "prepared" from urban Nature during their children workshops, creating a wondrous Curiosity Cabinet that will reveal secret dialogues between the micro and the macrocosm.
		Throughout the year we carried out film and animation workshops in various cities. The resulting works will be premiered at the Festival. We thank all the participating institutions, educators, families and, of course, THE CHILDREN!
