here is the spot of LPM 2018 Rome!

LPM 2018 Rome spot is made by Tadej Droljc. This video is made with various custom made modules implemented inside the programming environment Max / MSP / Jitter and Max for Live. “On the grid” musical sequences were initially made in Ableton Live but then the underlying time was bended with a module called Stringvencer. Stringvencer is a sequencer that treats fixed DAW linear time-line as a physical string that can be twisted, curled or even thrown around.

Other modules used are mainly all about processing the geometry. In this particular case the geometry was a LPM logo hence everything you see in this video is a LPM logo processed in different ways.

All these modules will be part of Tadej’s PhD submission and will be hence publicly available around the end of this year.
