TARDIS: Tempus Atque Relativae Dimensiones In Spatio

TARDIS: Tempus Atque Relativae Dimensiones In Spatio from Stranger in the Alps Productions on Vimeo.

Tempus atque relativae dimensiones in spatio is a site-specific live audiovisual installation designed for the Brno Planetarium. It explores the ideas of creation, the universe, the fourth and fifth dimension, parallel universes and our concept and relationship to them.
The music is composed for a string quartet and choir and performed live with a Latin libretto, which draws heavily on themes associated with Dr. Who and in fact constitutes a translation of various utterances spoken by The Doctor himself. It also includes two soundscapes and one live theremin component.
The visuals are specifically tailored to the planetarium, with a fulldome projection and a live drawing/VJing component reacting to the music in real time.

This is a short demo video, the entire piece is approximately 45 minutes long.
