Villa d’Este - Concorso d’Eleganza

Villa d’Este - Concorso d'Eleganza from Steffen Hoerbrand on Vimeo.

In May 2022 we had the honor to produce a projection mapping in the garden of the Villa d'Este for the Concorso d ́Eleganza Villa d'Este, THE meeting of historic classic cars. On behalf of the event agency JOKE, we were the highlight of the Saturday evening party at the exclusive event together with the Flying Bachs.
On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the luxury hotel Villa d'Este at Lake Como, this extensive show was performed once. A VJ remixed visual elements of our mapping afterwards at the party, which lasted into the morning hours.

In 10 weeks of production time, five thematically different chapters were created, which dealt with the history of the Villa d'Este and the Concorso d ́Eleganza Villa d'Este. Together with the Flying Bachs, a choreography was specially developed for this purpose, to which we coordinated our animation precisely to the beat. The 10-minute projection show was supported by a lighting designer and extensive event technology.

We would like to thank the agency JOKE Event AG for this extraordinary production at eye level and the BMW Group Classic for their trust in our work and especially for the goal-oriented feedback loops. Only in this way was such an extensive production possible in a very short time!
