In this demo I model a basic pyramid in Cinema 4D and then export the object as an OBJ into MWM. Then with Resolume via Syphon mix video footage onto the UV mapped pyramid all in realtime.

Some parts of the video are too visually busy for me now, but one thing I like about it is that it captures something real -
Passionate, highly skilled artists who are in the flow.

In 2012 i took part in the born digital team for "vj op de dom". I was asked to do an intro and the theme was glitch as an metaphor for the miscommunications of babylon.
All was done in quartz composer to make it sound reactive and create more of a synergy between visuals and the music.

The Basso Images project is an improvised audio/visual experience that is realized in real time, through collaboration between video artist and double bassist/composer. The video artist creates a visual montage from a variety of original video footage, including local images, and is processed and mixed in the moment, responding to the sounds produced by the double bassist/composer. The double bassist creates an audio environment through the real-time digital processing of the sounds produced on the double bass. This creates a unique, mesmerizing, symbiotic relationship that contributes to a truly immersive artwork.

After his success in 2013, we repeat the formula discerning professional workshops from events intended for the public. Articulated around various themes and technological explorations, conducted by international instructors who are specialists in their respective fields, the six workshops will be spread over the two weeks of the festival.

CinéGlobe is an international short film festival that takes place every two years at CERN, in the Science and Innovation Globe. Now in its fourth edition, it is quickly becoming one of the most important event in the world mixing science and technology.

The Mapping Festival is happy to collaborate with CinéGlobe. On March 21st, we will disclose a selection of short films produced during our previous editions, panoramas of performances among the most memorable and portraits of iconic artists of the genre.
At the end of the screening, the CENC collective will present Disorder, a performance similar to the multidisciplinary proposals initiated and supported by the festival, weaving the worlds of dance, sound and generative video.
The public will also discover during the evening a LED installation, especially built for the occasion by Boris Edelstein, which will adorn the corridors of the globe.

El Patronato de la Ruta de la Amistad sigue el curso de la difícil tarea de recuperar y conservar las esculturas que componen este conjunto escultórico realizado con motivo de la olimpiada cultural México 68, la ruta se compone de 22 esculturas monumentales colocadas al sur de la Ciudad de México sobre periférico. Algunas de las esculturas que representan a varios países han sido reubicadas por la construcción del segundo piso, es el caso de Janus de Clement Meadmore , estación # 12, presencia de Australia en la Ruta de la Amistad, México 68.
Clement falleció en 2005, él se considero un expresionista, dotaba a sus obras de un lenguaje visual lo suficientemente fuerte para la superar la geometría de los elementos, es decir ofecia en sus trabajos la posibilidad de mirar sus obras desde diferentes ángulos, obteniendo siempre diferentes visiones sobre una misma escultura, es el caso de Janus, la obra más grande que él realizó.
Janus se ubicaba originalmente en Periférico sur (dirección sur-norte) en donde se encuentra hoy el Colegio Olinca, quienes eliminaron la base original de piedra volcánica para substituirla por un jardín de flores atrapándola detrás de una reja por 16 años. Janus fue finalmente devuelta al acervo cultural de México el 11 de diciembre de 2012.
Gracias a la colaboración entre el Patronato, Fundación Meadmore, Embajada Australiana, el Gobierno de la Ciudad de México, y el World Monuments Fund se logro reubicarla en el Trébol vial de Insurgentes Sur y Periférico, sobre Insurgentes dirección Sur-norte El Jueves 20 por la noche se presentará un mapping del VJ Moisés Regla sobre la escultura, así como una introducción musical de Luis Mendes a instrumentos antiguos de diversas culturas, con sorprendentes sonidos a la electrónica actual, cerrando la noche con libres intervenciones de su música con las propuestas de un Joven talento Me & my Self.

Triangulation- 3D Projection Mapped Set Design

A projection mapped set design made for a single performing artist or duo, set in a theatre. Modelling done in 3DS Max, content created, edited and placed on a UV map in After Effects then used in d3 where content is mapped and the show is simulated full scale in real-time. The set measures 8m x 4m x 3m from the widest points and there is a 'live' camera feed on the performer.
The project aims to show the potential of 3D simulation software, to show how the versatility of 3D mapping a single stage design and to show projection can enhance music. The set is also designed to be enjoyed equally from all audience viewpoints.
The Music used is a Four Tet Remix of Nathan Fake's 'You Are Here'.

there's no audio with this clip...just let some music run in iTunes with the movie playing.
Nothing is synced with audio during production, so lots of different songs can sound good with this. Especially loved listening to Gary Burton's "Hand Bags and Glad Rags ".
