In this video I have created visual content for Jay Hardway, together with Auke Kruithof, Studio Rewind. We created a package of visual loops which is used for live VJ’ing. The visuals in this video are modelled and animated by myself, then lit using Octane renderer by Auke Kruithof. We both created several visuals using Cinema 4D, and After Effects, which is then VJ’ed live in VDMX.

《正常的生活》是 The Tic Tac 推出的首張專輯，這張專輯的創作理念，希望表現出每個存在的多元性。所有我們有可能覺得特別的生活，不過只是另一個人正常的生活。
在音樂方面，《正常的生活》這張專輯企圖以不同於一般的樂團編制，嘗試了更多音樂上的可能性，打破制式的樂團編制，捨棄傳統爵士鼓配置，大量啟用鍵盤低音，而獨特的限制卻讓音樂發展的空間更為寬闊，對於聲音、音樂的理解，也更需要巧思和團員間的互相溝通。介於民謠和搖滾之間，The Tic Tac 找出屬於自己獨特的聲音，希望給予台灣獨立樂團一些新的樣貌。

This is a long-overdue video for one of my favourite curators of music, Mikey Weinberg at Intrinsic Audio Sessions. This is a meditation, an experiment. Drawing from synaesthetic experience, it is an exploration of the relation and interaction between sound and image. It is designed to challenge passive consumption, and encourage interpretation.
All content was filmed by PUPIL and co-conspirators in one room.

MORPHOS 2015 highlights the work of six international artists-in-residence, live DJ/VJ show, and a showcase reel of digital dome art. MORPHOS 2015 is a one of a kind artist-in-residence and public show with a collaboration between BETA emerging technology arts and Fort Collins Museum of Discovery as a way to expand visual arts into the immersive dome. Fort Collins’ Otterbox Dome Theater and Gates Planetarium are two of the first domes in the world to house software allowing artists to expand on the immersive experience through easy playback, gaming and interactivity.
For 2015, we have expanded the experience to include more support for artists and two shows for the public: October 16 at Fort Collins’ Otterbox Dome Theater and October 18 at Denver’s Gates Planetarium.
The artist-in-residence is Produced by Ethan Bach. Bach has run artist-in-residence programs for domes since 2012 in Santa Fe and Los Angeles. He is the CEO of BETA emerging technology arts and is joined by Ben Gondrez (FCMoD), Assistant Producer, and Timmy Edens (DomeMasters), Production Assistant for MORPHOS 2015. theWall at ROOF on theWit was designed and created by Justin Thompson visuals in conjunction with theWit owner Scott Greenberg in late 2012, launcing in early in 2013 as a "first ever of-its-kind" in hospitality. Justin Thompson approached Scott Greenberg in 2012 with an idea to create a 3D projection mapped wall at one of the top ranked rooftop bars in the entire world. We designed the wall, the system and its content, whille Justin VJ'd the installation live performing graphics alongside top DJ performances at the club.

We wanted to develop an interactive video system reacting to the public wandering. The aim was to transform the viewer into an actor, who, like a magician, would wake up sleepy walls by virtually painting them with his own body ...
"Echoes" is thus a fun, interactive installation, between play and experimentation, which visual impact is both dynamic and spectacular.
This installation reacts to the presence of people in a capture area, while their movements affect the projection creating visually intriguing effects. It is another way to enjoy the space! The viewer is led to run, jump, walk to activate and create the shapes and colors of the installation. These shapes and colors echo the captations of movements, silhouettes, lights, clothes colors
By playing in the sensitive area, the viewer / actor discovers the projection of its own image and realizes that he can also change his appearance ...
This interactive installation therefore needs the participation of the visitor to become that "visual painting" ...
Both painting and projection, "Echoes" allows everyone, regardless of age, to freely play with color, to get carried away in a whirlwind of forms.

« Mirage » est une installation interactive qui place le participant dans une position active et centrale. Cette installation interroge sur la relation entre le soi, le son et l’espace. Il s'agit donc d'une création cherchant à effacer la frontière entre d'une part, les espaces virtuels et réels, d'autre part la catégorisation formelle « artistes / spectateurs » dans la mesure où l'oeuvre existe essentiellement dans la relation qu'elle crée entre le spectateur et lui-même.

"Mirage" is an interactive installation that places the participant in an active and central position. This installation questions the relationship between self, sound and space. This creation aims to blur the line between virtual and real spaces, but also the formal categorization "artist / audience" insofar as the work exists essentially into the relationship it creates between the audience and himself.
After several months of gestation period and several months of experimentation, "Mirage" is almost ready to be released .

Le collectif L:ED a présenté « Side by Side », performance de danse augmentée conçue à l'occasion d'une résidence à L'hybride.
« Side by side » est une performance live… et surtout totalement inattendue. À commencer pour ses interprètes.
Une performance chaque fois renouvelée, rencontre entre le duo Exomène et Dorianne Wotton pour la partie audio et vidéo, et le performer Gerostenkorp pour la partie danse et expression corporelle. La fusion du digital et du corporel.
Cette création questionne l’interpénétration entre le réel et l’imaginaire par la mise en relation d'un performer et de son image grâce à une captation live de la performance projetée sur l’espace dans lequel il évoluera. En live, Dorianne Wotton assure un mix vidéo au rythme de la musique d’Exomène.

Here is an extract of "Side by Side", performed with the collective of artists L:ED, the 26th february at L'Hybride (Lille, France) after an artistic residency.
This is an augmented dancing and audiovisual performance by the L:ED collective dealing with existential doubt, inner universes and the ambiguity of the feelings. Side by side seeks to illustrate the interpenetration between the real and the imaginary by linking a performer and his image through a live recording of the performance projected on the space where the performer evolves.

After months of hard work and a successful crowdfunding campaign, L:ED had an artistic residency at the 6B.
This residency was the climax of an entire year of work allowing the collective to complete its interactive installation and show it for the very first time on Jan. 30th. It will also lead to further developments : the concepts underlying Mrage will be used in our upcoming works

Après des mois de travail et une campagne de crowdfunding couronnée de succès, le collectif L:ED a investi le 6B.
Cette résidence constituait la clé de voûte d'une année entière de travail et venait finaliser l'installation.
Une restitution publique a eu lieu le 30 janvier.
Retour en images sur cette résidence et présentation de l'installation, qui devrait connaître de nombreux développements. En effet, cette résidence ouvre de multiples perspectives créatives : "Mirage" va pouvoir se décliner et le concept être abordé sous de multiples angles.

Le laboratoire propose ou conçoit sur mesure des installations qui invitent le public à prendre part au processus de création : déclencher un son par une simple présence, modifier une couleur d’un geste ; pénétrer et transformer une texture; apparaître et changer de formes en fonction de déplacements et de mouvements… Elles permettent un engagement du public qui devient actif et décideur.

Le collectif L:ED s'est associé aux danseurs Marie Barthélémy et Alexis Ochin pour une performance live... et surtout totalement inattendue. A commencer pour ses interprètes.
Dans le cadre dela soirée I-R-L, Exomène, Dorianne Wotton , Marie Barthélémy et Alexis Ochin ont interprété la performance "Side by side".
Une performance totalement improvisée, puisqu'il s'agissait concrètement de la première rencontre de deux duos: Exomène et Dorianne pour la partie audio et Vidéo; Alexis Ochin et Marie Barthélémy pour la partie "danse et expression corporelle". Deux duos, la fusion du digital et du corporel.
Cette performance mêle le réel et l’imaginaire par la mise en relation de deux performers et de leur image grâce à une captation live de la performance projetée sur l’espace où ils évoluent. Dorianne assure un mix vidéo en live, au rythme de la musique (toujours en live) d'Exomène .
Une expérience singulière donc, où nous avons laissé libre cours à notre créativité pour titiller votre imaginaire.

Figured it was time for me to post the usual box video mapping setup.
I used TouchDesigner and CamSchappr to do the mapping. Fun way to build a mapping setup, using an actual geometry model with dynamic lights is cool. I kind of like the plain boxes with no animation the most!

These visuals were made for an event called "Lo que viene" organized in the museum "Bellas Artes" (Maracaibo, Zulia). The videos were displayed with background music mixed by an invited DJ. O projeto propõe um mergulho nas lendas do folclore brasileiro utilizando elementos tecnológicos multimídia.
Combinando grafite digital, poesia, personagens animados, luzes e música, os artistas Ygor Marotta e Cecilia Soloaga proporcionam aos visitantes uma performance sensorial. A ideia da instalação é dar a crianças e adultos a oportunidade de explorar imagens e sons da natureza, familiarizar-se com lendas do folclore brasileiro e ter contato com novas linguagens de mídia. As antigas histórias populares ganharão vida combinadas com a tecnologia da projeção em video mapping.
A paisagem sonora foi gravada em lugares mágicos da nossa natureza, unindo instrumentos nativos com sintetizadores e tecnologia sourround para compor uma experiência audiovisual. O som foi trabalhado em cima de cada desenho animado.

http://www.mikecelona.net - Recording of a live VJ mix performed by Mike Celona at the REC Center, a now defunct underground electronic music and arts venue formerly located in downtown Rochester, NY on August 22, 2015. The live performance setup consisted of 2 VHS tape decks and DVD players run through a SIMA video mixer which was then routed through a Canopus ADVC110 firewire digital capture interface into a Macbook Pro running Arkaos mixing software where the aforementioned sources were then remixed on the fly with additional abstract video elements produced by the artist. The complete performance was recorded to an external hard drive using Syphon Recorder.
