This is the the core of the live played by Otherliine. I was really happy this was accepted as part of the visuals when i pitched as it was something i was working on for quite a while doing r&d. Being a great fan of Brutalist architecture, over the years I have collected many pictures of different concrete buildings around London. I used those flicks to create textures and models for these series.
The buildings are quite famous brutalist architectures: Balfron Tower, Trellick Tower and the now defunct and beautiful Robin Hood Gardens in Poplar.

Mapping Festival
The Mapping Festival team is more than happy to announce that despite everything, the 16th edition will take place online as well as in Geneva streets!
From November 19th to 29th, the edition will therefore invade your screens, but also our confined city. We’re setting up for you an urban artistic journey to discover installations exhibited in shop windows of various places now closed - bars, hairdressers, art galleries, offices - in order to keep them busy and alive, and to brighten up the city despite everything. Everything will be visible from the outside: the opportunity to enjoy a nice small winter walk, (in solo and masked, of course). A huge thanks to all the artists and local places!

The new Apple operating system, macOS Big Sur is now available,
However, we do not recommend that you update your system:
- Modul8 is not optimized at the moment and will not work. As a reminder, only Modul8 v3 is compatible with the previous system, Catalina.
- MadMapper is not yet fully optimized for macOS Big Sur. Version 4 was released in September and the system was then Catalina: MadMapper is therefore fully compatible with this OS but we need more time to ensure full compatibility with the new OS, macOS Big Sur.
We also strongly suggest to inquire about compatibility with other softwares and plugins you use

Xitelabs in collaboration with our amazing partner's at Lightswitch and Evolve Media Group has created a Virtual Production environment running in real time on our XR LED stage. Infected Mushroom XR Extended Reality live was our inaugural virtual performance showcasing our cutting edge virtual technologies in a futuristic, musically inspired world.
This was one of our first live shows of the year due to the unprecedented covid-19 global pandemic. For our team this was a large scale leap into the highly experimental new world of virtual production. We wanted to feature the electronic music artist Infected Mushroom, as our teams have been long time collaborators on live visual experiences for almost a decade now. We think that collaboration and eduction have been two of the best developments of 2020, and pushed this through into reality. We wanted this to feel like a journey, and their style of psychedelic electronica was a perfect fit to the visual landscape.
We see this work as a digitalization of the things we loved to do that vanished this year. A transformation and pivot into explorations of new extended virtual realities. New ways of looking at how we perform, and how artists can and will communicate with their audiences in the future.
Xitelabs utilized Unreal Engine, Carbon, Stype, Grand MA Lighting, Robe, cinema 4D, resolume, notch and disguise technologies to create a fully interactive virtual concert world. We married lighting, video and sound into this Realtime environment. The performance was done live with no rehearsal, much like a festival DJ/VJ/LJ set. To further link the physical with the virtual we sampled the color from the main program at selected ideal image locations and sent the data back to our lighting board. Audio data was used to modulate parameters and color timings. Digital control of over 11 universe of virtual / phsyical lighting were enabled using the Carbon plugin for 4.25.3 Ue4. Visual art, along with cinematic camera sequences were played live to the performance. This further enhanced the photorealism of the illusion of filming inside an LED volume with a perspective projection matching the primary camera.
