I've been interested in taking my Light Study photo series and evolving them into motion pieces. I shot a lot of footage for a VJ gig for FITC San Francisco. So I edited together those stop motion sequences, mashed up some audio from the Tron Legacy trailers, and out came Light Drive.
The video is stop motion, so every frame is an individually shot photograph. Each photograph is a long exposure photo, with exposures reaching up to 20 seconds in some cases.
To control the lights, I used an Arduino controlled via bluetooth to drive a stepper motor. The stepper motor controls the movements of the lights remotely from Processing.
The light sources include cold cathode case lights, EL wire, lasers and more.

We, COSMIC LAB, the crew who pursue the extension of perception through live-visual experience, was hold an event of audio-visual showcases in 2021.
Throughout the past year, we have refined an XR live system used in various performances across Japan and beyond. On February 7, Cosmic Lab was push the technology in new dimensions of reality, thus redefining the term XR from Extended Reality (which implies a linear growth) to Expanded Reality, symbolizing an expansion to all possible spaces of reality.
This one-of-a-kind event was feature different perspectives of augmented and virtual reality performances from EYE (of Boredoms), collaborations with BACKSPACETOKYO, and more. The event was streamed live from Misono Universe, an underground / sub-culture sanctuary in Osaka.

3 projetores de 20.000 lumens laser foram instalados em um apartamento e as projeções eram feitas da janela, utilizando a energia do próprio local.
Seguindo as regras de isolamento, nossos técnicos instalaram, fizeram o mapping e depois desinstalaram os equipamentos. A operação era feita pelo cliente, no local.

LFO2 is our CCTV family resident, accompanied this evening with visual artist Daniel Wirtberg.
Daniel Wirtberg is an award-winning film director and visual artist whose background lies in the alternative film and music video scene. His passion has always been to explore the relationship between dynamic audiovisual storytelling, state of mind, and atmospheres. Since graduating from FAMU, the Czech Film Academy in Prague, he has experimented thoroughly with imagery, expression, shooting formats, and techniques over the years. As a DJ/VJ, he has performed in venues such as Sonár Reykjavik, Way Out West, Red Bull Music Academy, CPH:DOX, Trädgården, and now CCTV Sthlm.

das Shining collective is a group of interdisciplinary media and computer experts who studied media informatics together in Tübingen before expanding their expertise in other academic fields. The group is always looking for new opportunities to let its creativity run free in a challenging way. ## Kitz
KITZ uses a deceptively simple combination of gritty electronic sounds and vintage- sounding synth lines paired with haunting vocal melodies to create an evocative journey through light and dark.
Kitz (Anna Illenberger)has made herself a name in recent years as a vocalist in the experimental pop field in Stuttgart,Germany.
KiTZ acts within a musical genre that is constantly reinventing itself, innovating, and mixing spaces with other types of arts, its search has become an exploration, it likes to develop spaces around each song, something that leaves as a result what she calls an "organic vibration".
With KiTZ, Anna Illenberger plays a one woman show. Rhythms, samples and bass that she triggers live to an "organic electronic experience". She likes to keep things minimal and turns her voice to the center of attention in this project, singing songs about self-empowerment, courage, authenticity and expressing "difficult" moments such as self-doubt or fear.
## Eric Medine
is an artist and curator that builds interactive video installations designed to turn everyday activities into mysterious quests. He has shown work in galleries and museums such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, LACE (Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions), xm:lab, KunstlerHaus, and the Generate festival in Germany, the Chicago Motion Graphics Festival, Fête de la Lumière in France, and the LPM festival in Rome and Mexico City.
As a VJ and live visuals engineer he’s worked with a large range of different performers.
