360° Poetry Festival Vienna

360 poetry festival in the planetarium of Vienna: nine live poetry performances surrounded by gigantic projections of custom-crafted animations.
Premiered the 29th of September 2023.
Each performer worked closely with a dedicated team of young artists from PJAIT Warsaw for half a year to produce visuals that augment and translate the meanings of poetry for audiovisual immersion.
Over 200 viewers watched this extraordinary show in which visual, kinetic, and spoken poetry became one amplified experience.
We carried out the endeavor in the frame of the Urban Travel Machines, an international exchange and research-supporting project co-funded by the Creative Europe EU grant. The project connected 3 European art universities (PJAIT Poland, Aalto Finland, AP Belgium) with science centers in nearby countries (VHS Vienna, Austria, AAHAA Tartu, Estonia, Casa de las Ciencias, A Coruña, Spain) and a slam poetry network to enable further cooperation on new possibilities for live immersive interdisciplinary experiences in full-dome venues.

Cacografias é uma intervenção escalar que compõe os vestígios da pixação de Fortaleza com os rastros da pixação mineira presente em três prédios do Baixo Centro de Belo Horizonte. Em uma parceria entre Negrita MC, Kulumym-Açu e biarritzzz, o trabalho navega pelas letras da MC de Carpina, Pernambuco, em diálogo com as grafias já existentes nesses prédios. Experimentando a visualidade dos cacos de vidro quebrados enquanto metonímia das ruínas da linguagem humana nas cidades, o trabalho passeia pelo repertório da artista visual e VJ biarritzzz na noite dissidente do Recife, em conjunto com Negrita MC, rapper, atriz e produtora, que destaca em suas letras e performances no palco a vivência periférica e o ativismo social. A dramaturgia é costurada por Kulumym-Açu, multiartista cearense das grafias faladas e riscadas. Mesclando luz, cor e rap, embalado por beats de Drill, a intervenção audiovisual integra o entorno, onde existe uma praça em que tradicionalmente ocorrem Slams no centro de Belo Horizonte.

"Solid Matter Liquid Dreams" was a live VJ performance and 3D mapping projection at Atelierhof Kreuzberg in Berlin, part of the "Princess Slaughter" exhibition 2019. The installation explored the interplay between solids and liquids, transforming the surface into a canvas for vivid storytelling. It began with stable, solid forms evolving into fluid, symbolic of life's fluidity. The visuals wove between geometric shapes and flowing liquids, crafting a surreal atmosphere. Creatures of the fog is a project produced for the visual enjoyment and look into various movements and forms. I wanted a viewer to immerse into the magical world of peculiar creatures, observe them, and think about what they meant. Initially it was planned as a black and white vj installation, but as soon as I entered the exploration it has evolved into a simpler but more atmospheric piece.
