A video preview of me testing out my latest VJ setup and layout using VDMX5 for the mix.
Performed this using a bounce of some unfinished flexikin beats I'm working on.
Ehrm, the borrowed source files are some documentary footage (the British company obvs) and some Beeplecrap clips, and for the music there a little snippet of a hurdy gurdy in there from "Omen - Guilhem Desq" (plz don't sue or strike, ur shiz is dank).
Hit me up if you're interested in a tutorial on the setup, it's technically rather entry level and using two LPD8 and an old APC40 mk1 for midi input.

Sinopse: A projeção videográfica abrangendo a estrutura da Fonte 9 de Julho, localizada no Mirante 9 de Julho, Jardim Paulista, cidade de São Paulo, objetiva imprimir nova dimensão estética e valorização de um monumento urbano que possui imponência singular e importante significado para esta cidade. A forte carga simbólica contextualizada às fontes ou chafarizes de meios urbanos expressa-se pela possível associação com atos de purificação que estas estruturas sugerem. As suas águas jorrantes têm valor de águas puras, primitivas, vivas, e seus movimentos bastam para expressar esse valor. A intervenção da projeção sobre estruturas estáticas que represam e emolduram as fontes, além da projeção sobre as águas jorrantes do local, visam criar um aspecto lúdico e renovador, através da possibilidade de visualização de imagens de registros pictóricos clássicos dos seres que inspiram o trabalho, as Náiades que habitam fontes e são chamadas Crinéias. Os tons predominantes dessas obras também inspiram a fase posterior da projeção idealizada, no qual pretende-se o uso de linhas geométricas que também imprimem um caráter futurista ao trabalho.

Raw footage was produced during live sessions in fosfor's "lab". Analogue errors / feedback / glitches were created with several old video mixers and effect units. The equipment was wired up in ever changing ways to achieve different output in every session.
Signal was recorded live to S-VHS or DV tape, excerpt picked and burned to DVD.
Each "VJ Tool" DVD held 16 looping clips which could be chosen by menu. Clips were used by fosfor for visual performances in dance clubs or off-venues.
Live mixing was done with two portable DVD players (Pioneer PDV-LC-20) and Panasonic MX12 mixer. In some live setups, additional effect units or infrared live cams were included.

[ コース概要 ]
プリレンダ(予めレンダリングされた)映像クリップを読み込み使用するVJシステムを作ります。 TouchDesignerをプリレンダのVJシステムとして使用した際に、どんな問題が出てくるかなど実際の使用経験に基づいた話を交えながら進めていきます。TouchDesignerをVJ用途で使用してみたい方やソフトウェアの様なシステム制作に興味がある方、現在VJをしている方でTouchDesignerの使用に興味がある方を対象としています。 主に使用するオペレーターはTOPとCOMP、DATになります。
UIはReplicater COMPを使用して作成するので、今回制作したものから自身に使用しやすい様にカスタマイズしていけます。
