Fractal Parameter Adjustment as VJ Technique - Experimental

Fractal Parameter Adjustment as VJ Technique - Experimental from Paul Harrison on Vimeo.
This is an experiment in adjusting parameters of a generative fractal program to synchronize with an EDM track. In this case the track is ZEDD's remix of Swedish House Mafia's Who's Gonna Save the World. The math is based on a GLSL implementation from Buddhis algorithm "revenge-of-the-half-eaten-menger-sponge"

Adjustments were made by a combination of LFO, audio reactivity, and manually operated midi drum pad controller. Not a fully developed concept, but interesting (to me) in that it is essentially a visual exploration of just one equation, and that it was all performed, vj-style, as a live accompaniment to the track, not produced in an editing session.
