Video loops play as usual until the DJ raises his hands in the air -- he then breaks the video playback and takes over the screen with lasers, lightnings and fire shooting from his hands. When he pulls back the video loops come back, echoed in the rhythm of the DJ's interruption. The space around the DJ becomes a medium for expression of music energy which he uses whenever this really good part of the song is on.
The video loops load from the local hard disk or stream from another program or computer. Left and right hand pushed through the air activate different video loops and different video filters. The red and blue control points are optional: blue changes the video filter and red changes the video loops (two, for the left and right hand), and the hand "weapon". The Red and Blue can be hidden and/or set to automatic.
The DJ can be fully visible, partially invisible, or fully invisible unless his doing the effects with his hands, as in this video.
This setup runs on a PC with Kinect or Asus Xtion sensor and the Visikord software.
