The Mapping Festival will be celebrating its 10th edition

2014 edition: call to volunteers
The Mapping Festival will be celebrating its 10th edition from May 22 to June 1 2014 in Geneva. In order to ensure the successful organisation of the event, we are looking for motivated, available volunteers in a number of sectors (bars, ticketing, catering, artists' hosts, merchandising...).
If you wish to take part in a cultural event and are available for a few hours or more, register directly on the Mapping Festival website through the dedicated form.

Please indicate your availabilities and what type of work you are willing to do. Don’t forget to attach a photograph.

We will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
We are looking forward to meeting you!

2014 VJ Contest application
Soon, it will be useless to introduce the Mapping Festival VJ Contest. The festive rendezvous of the festival is held annually in the most beautiful cinema in the world, and hosted by the most beautiful couple of the world, Gertrude Tuning and Schnautzi. This is where international reputations will be made and unmade, where sweat, blood and tears will be spilled by litres.
Under the sharp eye of a professional board, candidates will compete in four rounds. In addition to eternal glory, winners will receive great prizes, among them the opportunity to play live during the Zoo party on May 31.
As the competition is drawing near, we invite you to register in order to participate in the 2014 VJ contest, which will take place at the Spoutnik on May 30 & 31. Please send us your application (incl. video, photos, references, resume…) until April 21 at this addressvjcontest@mappingfestival.com

Coming soon: 11th Electron Festival
After Electron on Tour, the great electronic epic journey will culminate from 17 to 20 April 2014: a gathering point for the actors of the Geneva music scene and Swiss talents, the 2014 Electron Festival will bring together figureheads like DJ Pierre, Front 242, Stacey Pullen, Mr Oizo and Vitalic, alongside the newcomers of the electronic landscape, such as Applescal, Akkord, Giraffage or Oum Shatt.

The festival-goers will thus be able to sample all the major trends of today’s electronic music. The event will also feature dance, movies, conferences, workshops, first encounters… Not to mention the must-see exhibition of the festival.
