On Saturday, 03. March 2001, N3 will broadcast "VeeJay Nights" from Amsterdam, Wilhelmshaven, Berlin and Osnabrück.
In this two-hour experimental entertainment show, the combination of club music and virtuoso visual projections will be comprehensively transformed into a new TV format for the first time.
It is based on the "VeeJay-Groove" from spring of the year 2000 on an event-axis from Amsterdam via Osnabrück and Wilhelmshaven to Berlin. The international DJ and VJ avant-garde guested at these events and transformed the venues with their audio visual collaborations in an "expanded cinema". The filmmakers Egon Bunne and Oliver Held will include portraits of the individual VJ's as well as urban impressions from their hometowns in the event documentation.
The result is a rousing film event that captivates through the congenial fusion of sounds, visions and background information as well as its innovative (club) aesthetics.
