Redesigned Material Library

Surfaces FX

Yes, MadMapper 4.1 unleashes custom user Surfaces FX ! This is a feature that some of you have been waiting for a long time : you can now design, code and share your owns to the community ! Learn how to design your own FX with the built-in guide available in the Help menu !

Render to Texture

Best practice alert : this 4.1 update introduces a new feature allowing you to render a material into a texture ! A must if you work on ressource-intensive materials and then add FXs on top of it.

Firmata Module

This new module allows you to plug in sensors and actuators, analog or digital, all within a friendly user interface. And above all, it's super easy... MadMapper fashion style ! Expand your knowledge by studying the built-in guide from the Help menu !

Weather and Pollution Modules

Echoing the climate issues, these two new modules allow you to connect to meteorological data in order to incorporate them into your installations! Environnement data are retrieved for free via Open Wheater, using MadMapper's account or your own. You will also be able to link the data to inspiring natural color palettes by downloading the weather material from the library ! Learn how to use them with the dedicated guide available via MadMapper/Help Menu or Youspace !

MiniMad News

You can finally use a shutdown OSC command for Video, Light and MiniMad Controller ! Plus, for specific installation setup needs, we added a manual network configuration for both Video and Light mapping exports ! And you can now define groups and zones for your mega installations !
