Passenger tells the story of the liquid matter transforming into the physical in which humanity is able to manifest itself. As time passes by the physical is bound to disintegrate. We are all passengers in time.
Passenger is a free audiovisual collaboration between Julien Mier (music) and Daan Kars (visuals). Additional vocals by Zefora. The violin and contrabass recordings are those of Myrthe van de Weetering (tracks 2-6,8,9).

# Julien Mier is a young composer and producer from the Netherlands, known for his eclectic and washed out collision of musical genres. His signature is this width approach of fragmented melodies, packed in a palette of, sometimes almost waterfall kind of textures and dreamy, melancholic stories.

# Daan Kars is focussed on live performance in vj’ing, live av sets and live cinema. Born and raised in the suburbs of Nieuwegein, the Netherlands, Daan Kars has a background in anthropology and documentaries. In his work Daan explores the relationship between urban spaces we live in and the nature we come from. From an aesthetic point of view the live sets show photographic elements and timelapse recordings mixed with abstract graphics.

# Myrthe van de Weetering plays the violin, double bass, a little piano and she sings. She plays in several ensembles and groups, both as a permanent member and project based. Her music is used in films, commercials, theatre plays and art installations. She composes music in any style, varying from jazz via sing-a-song-writer to electronic music with a classical touch. Myrthe also works in De Jazzwinkel, where she plays funk, soul and jazzrecords and writes reviews. Sometimes she shows her dj-skills in venues.

# Zefora is a singer/songwriter/producer living in Portland, OR. She majored in Commercial Music, Voice, Guitar, and Recording Arts and currently works in neuroscience. Still Zefora has several music projects and is always looking for new ways to collaborate with other artists.

The crew has always shared the fruits of their works through digital networks. Its creative roots trace back to the electronic music scene from the early nineties. In 2008 Born Digital was established as a foundation for new media & creativity. In June 2011 the Born Digital netlabel is established and releases audiovisual clips through a multitude of channels.
