THE GRID is the scenography we designed for the stage at La SAT during Mutek Montréal 2013. The whole structure is 14 meters by 4 meters and is made out of conventional shelving and 315 pixel-mapped lights. To keep it evolving in every show, we created a system that produced 10 different screen layouts and could be switched in 3 minutes between the artists.
For the visuals Mutek booked 13 VJ's, some for the low-res layer and the other for the projections. We had the pleasure to VJ for John Tejada, The Field, Saschienne, Michael Mayer, Onra and Graze.
The light and projection mapping was done with MAD MAPPER.
