For several years, the Sampladélicos duo has sought to reveal the immense heritage of traditional and contemporary music from different regions. Their work, which explores the foundations of collective memory, happens in two phases. The first, which began in March, consisted of collecting sounds and pictures. The artists roamed around Nyon and the surrounding area to record sounds and meet people whom they then filmed while they were singing or playing an instrument. The second phase happens on stage, where, during the performance, a new work is created every time. Between sampling and VJ-ing, the duo mixes musical memories, conducting an ensemble with multiple and unlimited combinations.
