This short film documents the work of Ambo Studio's latest installation project, a custom fabricated midi controller and projection screen. The film displays our ideal scenario for the installation, presented conceptually in use and location - the middle of the woods.
The midi controller is crafted with tin plated steel and acrylic, interfacing through a Livid Instruments Brain junior v2. The controller's 8 slider's wirelessly control the volume of 8 separate audio channels - and simultaneously 4 separate video tracks / pixel based effects.
There are 64 audio tracks and 24 video tracks on rotation, so the result is a completely unique audio visual symphony, tailored entirely to the user controlling the device.
