GENERAL MOTOR LED & MADMAPPER WORKSHOP 27-30 MAY 2025 Geneva Mapping Festival Hi ! Let’s meet again this May in Geneva for the new edition of the Mapping Festival ! We’re excited to host a brand-new workshop dedicated to LED mapping - this year, you’ll learn how to design a scenography using motorized LEDs & MadMapper, and much more. Workshop Pre-Registration About the Workshop The creators of MadMapper and experts from Geneva, Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam are coming together for a three-day, one-night workshop where participants will explore and play with a scenography composed of motorized LEDs using MadMapper. LEDs, motors, moving heads, and even artificial intelligence are on the program. Organized with GarageCube Hardware, MadMapper, Le Zoo and the Sigma6 design studio. The cherry on top of the Gruyère cheese, at the end of the workshop: on Friday night, the entire team will participate in the live performance, for the enjoyment of our eyes! This will be a unique opportunity to preview the new artificial intelligence feature for creating shaders, test new motor prototypes, and discover other surprises! The MadMapper and GarageCube teams will be there to welcome you, along with special guests. Information Non-exhaustive program: -Test and learn how to use the MadMapper software and experiment with new features: timeline and AI -Learn and understand the use of LEDs -Control motors and moving head lights -Learn how to design a scenography -Perform live at a public event Hours: From Tuesday to Thursday: afternoon and evening, Friday 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. (it is not necessary to stay until the end) Spoken language: English and French Prerequisites: -Have knowledge and an interest in an audiovisual practice, such as video, mapping, performance, scenography, music, light-design, etc.  -Bring a Mac or PC laptop. -Having an Ethernet interface with your computer Fee: 350 CHF - Including 1 meal per day and a v6 MadMapper license for two computers for 1 year.
