Megjelent a CoGeWebkit névre hallgató nyílt forráskódú Quartz Composer plugin első publikus bétája. A plugin a Safari által is használt WebKit motort használva képes a weboldalakat teljes tartalmukkal együtt lerenderelni, illetve bármit, amit a böngészőmotor képes megjeleníteni. Tehát, az .swf fle-ok végre használhatóak Quartz Composerben is.
