the program of the XVI edition of LPM - Live Performers Meeting is now online!
LPM 2015 Rome begins with an Artistic Residency in Formello from 18th to 24th May, and goes on with the Meeting from 28th to 31st May at Nuovo Cinema Aquila and Università Sapienza in Rome.

400 artists, performers, professionals, enthusiasts of live video from 44 countriespresenting 208 projects, creating a unique and unrepeatable event!

The sixteenth edition of LPM Live Performers Meeting begins on May 28th, 2015 in the spaces of Nuovo Cinema Aquila and Sapienza University in Rome.

LPM offers the unique opportunity to experience 4 days of audiovisual performances, VJing, workshops, panel discussion, product showcases presented by hundreds of VJs, audiovisual artists, new media professionals and thinkers from around the world.

The call for proposal is open till 21 of April.

This year LPM decided to produce the video using the audio reactive software APV created by the collective Goofy Goober Project made in OpenFrameworks.
The video is generated by the music of Blavatsky.
The art direction is made by Elisa Antonacci.

"Program aims at exploring different themes through new audiovisual languages, techniques and technologies. Vj, artists, designers, professionals and the general public will be involved in the manifold planned activities: from experimental audiovisual performances, live mapping shows and DJ VJ sets to workshops, lectures, and presentations of products and hardware, with a special attention for Free and Open Source projects. Meeting areas devoted to the interaction among the hundreds of participants will be the corollary for the whole duration of the event.
