Bonjour Ismaïl!

Egy ideje rendszeres látogatója oldalunknak Ismaïl Bahri tunéziai képzőművész, aki installációihoz egyszerű, természetes anyagokat használ és ezeket videón, fotón örökíti meg. ( pl,: műanyag pohár - ( természetes anyag...haha.. ) -, spárga, víz, a tárgyak által keltett hangok, stb... ) A Coulée douce (vidéo) szinopszisát idemásolom:
" Synopsis (English)
« The video Coulée Douce shows a frail machine that joints water and sewing threads woven in a disused fabric factory's staircase. The video follows a unifying theme that displays a physical down grade as well as an energizing hollowing out. With a slow drip-drip, the water leaks along the spooled threads in gentle slope. Transformed in a real waterway, the threads soak the drops by capillarity and damp their fall. As in animal documentaries, the camera tries to sound a microphysical vibration. The drops weigh along the trajectory where the most elusive events resonate like life pulsations. »

Materials used for the video : water, white cotton sewing threads and containers found on the film set.
Set : spiral staircase situated in the workshop of a textile factory (France textile Kohler, Vosges, France). The factory is now disused, after being relocated in Tunisia. "
