Stain VR audio-responsive virtual reality application is a collaboration between composer Ash Koosha and creative coder evvvvil (Mangosh Prunier). Our application illustrates Ash Koosha's abstract music with real-time procedural 3d graphics programmed to react with 7 audio channels analysis. This application is experienced through the Oculus Rift VR headset, its extreme audio-responsiveness brings the music to life as well as increasing the feeling of immersion, ultimately creating a bridge between sound and 3d visuals in virtual reality.
This application was developed by evvvvil in HLSL & vvvv with "Instance Noodles" and some ray marching distance fields.
