Step is an immersive environment experience created by Ruth Shaffer. This project is part of a series of ongoing experimental audio/visual installations that strive to transform music into textural, and seemingly tangible experiences.
In this project, the song "Step" produced by contemporary electronic/experimental beat artists Woolymammoth and Tsuruda serves as a springboard for a visual exploration of fear that comes from growing up. The project brings together sound, architecture, and visual arts to transform an indoor space into a multimedia piece that is seemingly alive and dynamic.
