Localizado no coração do poder brasileiro o Panteão da Pátria será a tela em branco para a apresentação de artistas visuais do mundo inteiro. VJs de todos os cantos do mundo poderão se inscrever para poder vir a Brasília concorrer a esse título tão almejado, mas somente um será o campeão.
Presenças já confirmadas: Bordos (bordos.eu) e United VJs (VJ Spetto e Emerson Queiroz), estes que fizeram parte da equipe de criação da abertura das Olimpíadas Rio 2016.
Além disso o evento contará com palestras, mesas redondas e oficinas para difundir e divulgar o ofício de VJ.

O Mapping realizado para a Rio Mapping Festival tem como referência estética os desenhos e padrões indígenas brasileiros. O conteúdo gráfico foi desenvolvido a partir deste universo simbólico, onde as formas e repetições criam idéias e conceitos.
Os desenhos revelam o jeito do povo indígena de contar a sua origem e mostra como funciona o seu pensamento. A pintura corporal tem diversas funções e são utilizadas em festas, combates e garantem boa sorte na caça, na guerra, na pesca e na viagem. Cada tribo e cada família desenvolvem seus próprios padrões de pintura.
Outro elemento importante na narrativa é a utilização do preto e branco para contrastar e ressaltar as estruturas do Palácio Rio Branco, transformando suas formas em uma narrativa simbólica que valoriza os elementos da cultura brasileira.
O Projeto foi realizado pelo artista VJ Eletroiman e o audio realizado por INZIST do coletivo TKLab. O TKlab é um grupo de pesquisa orientado pela Associação Telenoika, localizado em Barcelona, Espanha.

‘The world is full of mysteries’…

Таинство сотворения - это мечта и догадка человека постичь непостигаемое.
В бесконечной пустоте содержится потенциал возникновения жизни.
Три светоносных духа - символы триединства проявления Бога, воплощают задуманное объединив свои силы, создают жизнь, атом к атому, молекула к молекуле, заполняя космос сияющими звездами и туманностями - колыбели жизни, везде от микро до макро уровня силой притяжения и сохранения является Любовь - Божественная энергия!

Действие высокотехнологического ШОУ ‘MYSTERIES’ длится 8 минут 40 секунд. На сцене появляются 3 персонажа, которые олицетворяют триединство божественной энергии, высшее космическое сознание - физическую энергию, которая создала и соединила простейшие элементы в множество сложных явлений и предметов. Мы сделали космически красивую картинку - 3D video mapping, который погружает нас в потрясающую атмосферу космического научного фэшн-шоу: вспышки, первые элементы, звёзды, сакральная геометрия золотых оттенков, где персонажи идеально синхронизированы с 3D графикой и создаётся единое захватывающее пространство и действие. В костюмах использованы высокотехнологичные материалы.

Paradigm Shift _ Forum

Mapping _ Digital Shifts is proud to present the first edition of the Paradigm Shift _ Forum, which will be held at ACT (Le Commun, 28 rue des Bains) on May 24 and 25, 2017. This new international forum, supported by the Federal Office of Culture, will gather over two days inspiring artists, designers, curators, journalists, decision makers and researchers to critically reflect, raise questions and discuss the state of culture and society in today’s technology-driven world.

Artist Statement:
75Ω (Cheyene Grow & Ryan Peru) were contacted by Netherlands based producer David Douglas to produce a music video for a track off of his new album 'Spectators of the Universe'. We chose the song 'Pastel Dreams' to work with. We liked the implications of working with a pastel color palate within our video artwork. The song also contains echoes of a beach scene, which we took to heart. There is a subtle narrative element to this piece, which is hard to convey when just working with pure video signal, but it's there if you pay attention. We enjoyed the process of creating this and having the opportunity to work with an international artist. We hope you enjoy it too.

ALIENSCAPES:
The aim of the project is to explore the aesthetics of extraterrestrial patterns and nature fractals through new media art. The aesthetics of extraterrestrial landscapes, CGI and nature fractals and especially the aesthetics of moving fractals is the basic concern of the "AlienScapes" project.
The goal is being achieved by 3d programs and real time visual performance software.

This project was born from the idea of using sound and visual parts related to rocks and plastics. The resulting work is a concatenation of several audio and visual landscapes that follow one another, all accompanied by an acoustic background made with synthesizers, which links the different stages that occur. The resulting environment corresponds to an extended and abstract space changing over time, full of prospects that alternate between closeness and distance. The sound part is formed by recordings made of rocks in a quarry and by recordings made of plastic materials in closed environments. The key point of the work, sonically, is the right density calibration of sound impulsive elements, and where to place the fragments of the recordings so that they interact with each other in a fluid and natural manner. Another peculiarity of the song is undoubtedly the dynamic evolution of the parts: crescendo and diminuendo alternate phases to create tension/relaxation and stability/instability, accompanied by glissandi more or less long. Drawing inspiration from the materials did not affect the structure of the project, it was developed according to the choice of composition of the authors, which in this case let themselves be guided by the elements of matter themselves.

COGE VJ UPDATES

Soon after the bug-fix release CoGe 1.7.5 we've also released CoGe 1.7.6 which introduced more bug fixes and a new feature which makes it possible to cycle-thru aligned items inside an Aligner.

Yesterday we've released CoGe 1.7.7 to fix 2 annoying - and crashing :( - bugs.

VEZÉR 1.7.6

In Vezér 1.7.6 we've introduced a couple of additions around audio:

an option to set a Project Default Audio Device
an option to disable Pre-Processing Audio Filtering

MITTI UPDATES

Since our last e-mail, Mitti received a number of updates:

Mitti 1.1.2 introduced Jam Sync - a very handy feature when you work with MTC/LTC timecode - alongside bug fixes, mostly related to audio playback.
Mitti 1.1.3 fixed some bugs, then
Mitti 1.1.4 released with better MMC (MIDI Machine Control) support.

Yesterday, we've released Mitti 1.1.5 which addresses a long-standing bug around Video Outputs.
