Four days to learn everything related to Video Mapping techniques, from the project idea to the final realization. Technical study, optical, video projectors, lux, blueprint, 2d, 3d, music and sound effects, taught by VJ Eletroiman, member of the Telenoika Community.
After a painstaking measurement process, we construct detailed 2D and 3D models of the target surface. We then generate the audio and video content, using these models to “map” the content onto the finest details of the specific site. This allows us to visually alter the appearance of the architecture – by controlling light, colour and surface volume – to change its very nature and transform the way it’s perceived.

The Resolume VJ & Video Mapping workshop is intended to introduce to the participants the use of Resolume Arena Media Server, the most used tool for managing audio visual content at performances, stages, interactive installations. Starting with a basic interface explanation, you will progressively get to learn all the features of the software and get professional suggestions to use Resolume Arena at its best. During the workshop you will be asked to practice and try by yourself what you are learning. The next step of the class will be the presentation and application of the video mapping techniques using Resolume Arena. At the end of the workshop, the participants will be encouraged to experiment a video mapping on an “object” of their choice and to present it in front of the class.
PLEASE NOTE: Participants will be required to bring their own laptop, computer cables for connecting the projector and pc/laptop, and possibly their own projector (if they have one). They may also bring any hardware controller. To bring their own video footage for projection is not required, but welcome.

The intensive workshop provides knowledge and abilities to create interactive interfaces using Vvvv software and different devices: Kinect, Neurosky and Smartphone. During the workshop the attendees will produce graphic layouts on which will be possible to interact through hand’s movement, facial expressions, control of the thought and display touch. The workshop’s aim is to learn to manage the display of an innovative presentation, that can be employed in professional and working environment.
PLEASE NOTE:
It requires no specific knowledge: the course starts teaching the basics of Vvvv software (vvvv.org) and interactive environment with reference to contemporary art. Malo created a light exploration and cinematographic view about memory, sadness and forgotten times. For Transient Festival 2015 (Paris) He had been commissioned to collaborate with Fernando Corona as Murcof. First approach of the whole set would be to dive between figurative sequences and total abstract light shapes. But quickly, He noticed a strong and grim shift in the music aesthetic. This live was really different from the previous things he did with Enki Bilal and Anti VJ: Malo didn’t found any jazz or organic rhythm but something much more slow and religious. From this Malo started to create unidentified landscape and ghostly shapes only made of light refracted through water and glass filmed with a camera.
Fernando’s music use to be serious, post romantic and full of tension, then Malo created pictures dedicated to item and machine which belongs to the past (a stereoscope with printed on glass photography has been used for this show), talking about dust, ancient places and forgotten people.

Inspired by digital culture and the impact of technology on interpersonal relationships. The planet has never been as interconnected as it is now but at the same time digital tools have become electronic drugs that separate us from the physical world. We feel that we are effectively connecting with other people through electronic devices but this intense electronic relationship paradoxically generates a sense of social isolation. We subtly substitute physical relations for electronics or confuse electronic relations with real situations. DUAL is the reflection of this duality, we are no longer a single person, we are a combination of different versions of what social networks, databases and digital systems show of ourselves.

RIDERS ON THE MALL
Riders on the Mall (ROM) is a unique gathering of audiovisual jockeys, ranging from virgin riders to experienced charioteers, from experts in New Media Art to audiences interested in audiovisual and technological trends. ROM presents its 2nd edition this Spring as a project by MÜSZI Art & Community Centre located on the 3rd floor of the old Corvin Department Store in Budapest.
ROM deliberately puts emphasis on visuality within the current art scene, scanning the audiovisual landscape in Hungary and abroad for fresh threads, merging it into a panorama of what-comes-next.
This year’s edition invites its visitors for knowledge-sharing in various formats. Besides AV live acts and performances by Hungarian and international artists ROM will feature a BYOB (Bring Your Own Beamer) session, interactive presentations at Trafó’s smART! XTRA as well as an Idea Market organized by Let it Be! art agency. The Idea Market showcases works of artists using cutting-edge technologies – from light reactive jewelry through geometrical LED-sculptures until interactive installations connecting the sense of smell and taste. ROM’s workshops introduce beginners and advanced users into nature-hacking, 3D generative graphics or glitch aesthetics.
ROM’s second edition takes place at Müszi, Trafó House of Contemporary Art and Platan Gallery. ROM is part of the cultural cooperation LPM 2015 > 2018 realized within the international audiovisual network AVnode, with the contribution of the Creative Europe Culture Program for European Cooperation Projects, involving 14 partners from 13 European countries. O Mapping realizado para a Mostra Aberta SSA Mapping tem como referência estética os desenhos e padrões indígenas brasileiros. O conteúdo gráfico foi desenvolvido a partir deste universo simbólico, onde as formas e repetições criam idéias e conceitos.
Os desenhos revelam o jeito do povo indígena de contar a sua origem e mostra como funciona o seu pensamento. A pintura corporal tem diversas funções e são utilizadas em festas, combates e garantem boa sorte na caça, na guerra, na pesca e na viagem. Cada tribo e cada família desenvolvem seus próprios padrões de pintura.
Outro elemento importante na narrativa é a utilização do preto e branco para contrastar e ressaltar as estruturas do Palácio Rio Branco, transformando suas formas em uma narrativa simbólica que valoriza os elementos da cultura brasileira.
O Projeto foi realizado pelos artistas VJ Eletroiman y INZIST do coletivo TKLab. O TKlab é um grupo de pesquisa orientado pela Associação Telenoika, localizado em Barcelona, Espanha.

Inspired by digital culture and the impact of technology on interpersonal relationships. The planet has never been as interconnected as it is now but at the same time digital tools have become electronic drugs that separate us from the physical world. We feel that we are effectively connecting with other people through electronic devices but this intense electronic relationship paradoxically generates a sense of social isolation. We subtly substitute physical relations for electronics or confuse electronic relations with real situations. DUAL is the reflection of this duality, we are no longer a single person, we are a combination of different versions of what social networks, databases and digital systems show of ourselves.

In meinen Videos bringe ich organische Elemente in Verbindung mit Mystischem und projiziere auf verschiedene Materialien und Oberflächen, gemäß der sich durch alle Arbeiten ziehenden Philosophie "panta rhei" (Alles fließt).
Ich stelle dem Betrachter Bilder im Kontext zur Verfügung, mit denen er sich seine eigene Geschichte erzählen kann. Die Bilder und daraus resultierenden eigenen Geschichten und Gedankenwelten werden von Allen gerne gesehen und angenommen.
Die gesamten Bilder meiner Arbeiten werden im Vorfeld selbst produziert und aufgenommen, es wird kein Stockmaterial oder reine Animation verwendet.
Aufgeführt wurden die Videomappings weltweit, von Neuseeland bis Island, aber auch auf Genius Loci "Der Geist des Ortes" in Weimar, Projekt "Erlinde" (Wettbewerbsgewinnerin 2016).

Summary of my publicly listed videoinstallations - free work as well as commissioned works.
In my videos, I bring organic elements in conjunction with mystic, projected onto different materials and surfaces, according to the philosophy "panta rhei" (everything flows).
I make images in a context available to the viewer, so he can tell his own story about them. The images and the resulting own stories and thought-worlds are welcomed and accepted by everyone .
The entire pictures of my works are produced and recorded in the run-up, no stock material or pure animation is used.
The videomappings were shown worldwide, from New Zealand to Iceland, but also at Genius Loci "The Spirit of the Place" Festival in Weimar, project "Erlinde" (competition winner 2016).

Work in progress on a different scene set up for my real time sound reactive visualization project in Unity. Spent time refactoring the way things animate, which will effect future versions with having much more dynamic objects. Sonic Eather Global Illumination is starting to hit its peak as I had to make the GI voxel volume giant to fit the terrain. The track is an untitled wip by myself. The project is using a combo of some custom audio reactive tools built in house at KTI and things Ive been building with Playmaker.
I plan on uploading progress almost every week with this project until the summer when it will get a good test run at warehouse party in Toronto.

As you can see in the lyrics, we live for no reason. Repeated daily routines and miscellaneous stress.
In the video, TV comes out with daily routines. The camera is zoomed out and the other TVs are the same.
It is just a stressful noise. The ideal we want is on the above. But we keep repeating.
Irrational repetition and we bow to the oppressed reality.

0101 orchestrates live guitar loops, sample drums, and social documentary together to create a Cinematic Postrock Experience. 0101 takes you on a cyclical audio voyage without contrived ambiance or excess droning. In fact you may find that at the end you have reached the beginning without knowing how you got there.
1Hz is a scoring of the audiovisual live performance 1Hz which brings loop based music and cinematic visuals together. The performance was premiered during the course of an Artist in Residency at the Kasseler Dokfest in 2015. The project is a processually artistic research project which compares rhythm in music and moving images.
The film and audio footage was shot 2014 by Daniel von Rüdiger on a social documentary trip through Papua New Guinea. The two pieces specifically cover working processes of a indigene tripe at the Sepik river. Kanu documents the building and transport of a dugout and Sago the harvesting and processing of the staple food sago.

Vezér 1.7.5 released
Important: in case you are using Vezér with Mitti 1.0.4, this update will break the OSCQuery functionality, so best to wait to Mitti 1.1 then - that should be out in the next coming days.
The new release also fixes a crashing but related to setting interpolations on multiple keyframes, and an other issue has been already addressed that resulted the crash reporter window to be hidden in the background - we would hate to not receive possible problem reports from you, so keep'em coming!
