mute vj software

Mute is VJ software which aims to facilitate improvised, unique visuals. Mute currently allows you to mix 3 channels of swfs and jpegs and apply up to 9 dynamic filters at a time. Mute is open source vj software so there is great potential for third party plug-ins and collaborative development.

The current version is beta 0.1. This is unfortunately Windows only at the moment. Download

In the first of a series of videos introducing Mute's interface we take a look at the blend modes and colour tint filters.
