The VJ-set 'b_hofen' is based on video footage of an architectural art modell by Matias Bechtold. Throughout several post production sessions I altered the footage to get 3 pieces of different character and speed.
During the opening of the exhibition 'Die Stadt und das weisse Schlafzimmer von Elsie Loos' by Matias Bechtold and Michel Würthle at Laura Mars Gallery in Berlin I have projected 'b_hofen' to provide the bar space with ever changing light. The fragmented video interacts with the tiled surface and creates a cosy athmosphere. http://www.lauramars.de/
Following the filming session that took place in 2005, Bechtold has altered the modell comprehensively. It can now be seen at Berlin's famous artist pub 'Paris Bar'.
